You should head over to the tivo community forum. They would probably give you the best advice.

Based on your first post you said you were leaving cable so that point is moot. Most people network their TIVOs using MoCa or ethernet. The TIVOs will talk to each other so you wouldn't be losing anything.

If you can connect one antenna to each TiVo wouldn't that work?

That makes sense, and I should of checked for a section like that. In my mind I was thinking cut the TV cord, OTA, alternatives etc. Is it possible to have a mod move it?

I was in the same situation about six months ago. When I did the math it wasn't much more for a Roamio with lifetime over the Channel Master with wireless adapter and hard drive upgrade. I got the code off ebay to reduce the Roamio price some. Add in the happy wife factor and that pushed Roamio...

Thanks I will look for the option. Mainly it is for me to tell when my wife has already watched a show so I can delete it after I watch it. She finishes it and I can't tell so I leave it until I confirm. The Hopper would let you know but this is a small gripe.

One thing I miss from the Hopper is knowing whether a show has been watched already or not. Hopper would give you the start over message or something like that, TiVo just says play. Not a huge deal but it would be a nice feature. (unless I'm missing it)

I was finally able to get Dish to send me the box. Have to wait until 12/11/14 to get it but they threw everything at me to get me to stay. Dish is great and if I was interested in having this type of pay TV service I would stick with them. Thanks Dish for 14 great years of service.
