    The App communicates to the Hopper using the internet. Your Hopper and iPad would both need to be connected to a network.

    Guide screwed up.?

    It sound like you may need to re-download your guide info. The best way to ensure your guide is downloaded is to preform a Check Switch Test. Once the test is finished, press the LIVE TV button on your remote and the Hopper will reset and download your guide.
