I had it in satellite 2 just because I had the line I satellite 2 with my old box. I just switched it to satellite 1 and reset. Hopefully it will work.

Not working. I connected the inverter. Powered it up. Went to satellite dish setup. Picked slimline 3, swm, single tuner. It says it cannot detect swim and will not even let me continue.

Any local stores I can buy an inverter? March madness is not the same watching on the computer.

There are no swim inverters that we're very here. The lab reads SL3PIG-P. I have a b band connected in the house if needed. The original setup here did not have one.

I guess ill have to climb up. On the roof. I looked with binoculars and I couldn't see anything but a metal tube. How will I be able to tell if it's swm lnb?

I'm going to borrow a swm power inverter hopefully today to see if that works. But why didn't I need one with the previous receiver?

Now that it's daylight I can see the dish. It says slimline across the front of it and it looks to have 3 lnb and one cable coming off of it. that cable comes directly into my place. Previously with the old receiver it went straight into the back of the box.
