Same here. The discounts for being with AT&T/DirecTV are too good to pass up. I really enjoyed DISH, especially the OTA capability, but AT&T has made it too attractive not to switch.

Another hard reboot resolved the issue. Not sure what was going on, but it seems to be working for now.

Hi All, Would anyone have a reputable DISH vs DirecTV channel comparison chart? Many of the ones I've found on the internet seem to be outdated. Thank you in advance. I'm considering switching from DTV, but would like to compare the channel lineups first.

Assuming you have a keypad panel in your bedroom, I'd agree. However if you're panel is on another level, the TV (or walking to a device with the app) would be easier.

I disagree. Arming the system at night prior to turning off the tv would be convenient. Disarming, on the other hand, would likely not allow you to disarm it prior to the dispatch center being notified.

I can see a scenario where someone is in bed watching TV and then sets the alarm before going to sleep.

As well as potentially using the receiver as a "keypad."
