DIRECTV did an overnight transfer of the Atlanta SD duplicates from a spot beam on D9S tpn 26 to a National beam on D16 tpn 26. So far they have shut down the spot beam transponders on D9S TPN 4 and TPN 26. TPN 18 has only one spot beam active (Chicago), and TPN 28 only has Los Angeles locals.

Agreed. They can't use the Ka transponders at 101, they are too close to 99 and 103. But D16 was designed to function at any of the DirecTV licensed locations. I've never seen anything about the total number of transponders it can power simultaneously (that I recall).

That is what DIRECTV requested, but the request was "granted in part and denied in part". I can find no record of that grant in the FCC database. According to the FCC database the current authorization for D5 expires 02/28/2027.

The current LNBs that receive 119 also recelve 110. They are not installed in most residential accounts, unless they needed the 119 SD locals. This may be for some niche subset of customers.

I just filled up at $3.04 here at the Speedway near me in New Bern NC. The Mobil across the street was the same price. The usually cheaper stations at Walmart, BP and GoGas are all at $3.09.

This morning (Monday) they removed slates for the SD locals in Boston, Charlotte, Cleveland, Denver, Memphis, Paducah, Pittsburgh, and Sacramento. Those SD duplicate locals will no longer show in the guide.

i agree. But the cheapest gas station near me sells 2 grades, regular and premium no-lead.

It not only comes from the same refinery, it flows through the same pipeline to the fuel depots. Any additive would have to be added at the local depot storage tank. I buy the cheapest gas I can find. I keep my vehicles for a long time, and I never had a problem with "carbon buildup".

Oh, one other thing. Try turning off Dolby Audio on the HR44. That's never going to survive conversion to analog. It won't even pass over optical or coaxial digital cables.

Try using the speakers on your Samsung TV as a test. The HR54 is probably putting out digital audio, and the Samsung may not be converting it to analog for the RCA cables. If your TV has a ARC HDMI port, and the Onkyo has a an ARC HDMI output running the sound that way works much better...

I have an LCC and have not experienced the problem you described. But I am not running, and have never run version 0x1A4A. In Cutting edge testing, we tested a version leading up to 0x1A4A and did not have any LCC problems reported.
