    I got it on Adelphia in Carlsbad, CA - picture was great, I really enjoyed the race. It was really noticable when they switched between the SD and HD cameras though. I have never seen that before.

    The installers are often a POS because Installers Inc. pays virtually nothing for installs and has poor quality control. I wish I could remember the exact figure. Maybe an installer can give the figure? Those who find good installers should consider themselves quite lucky.

    I signed up just now. They offered both Showtime and HBO with two HD channels in each package. 400 dollars without any coupon code. I couldn't hold out any longer. I am sure it will drop to $250 soon. Oh well.

    There is also Voom which is a satellite company focused around HDTV. In your case I'd go with Comcast, cheapest starting point, and least commitment. You can always shift over once things shake out with the satellite companies.
