For about a year my bill was around 15 dollars a month even with premier because I was getting $200+ discounts a month. This was around 2017. They were giving discounts left and right back then. It’s a lot harder now a days.

It doesn’t make sense to include the cost of internet to streaming. Majority of people already have home internet. I personally don’t know one person who does not have broadband at home.

Seems like it would just be a lot easier to just say that you're not interested or that you already have services with them.

I would recommend to 4k because otherwise you'll miss out on the ESPN broadcasts which look the best out of all the 4k sports broadcasts plus NBA broadcasts as well. And the Olympics in 4k (filmed in 8k) will look amazing as well this summer.

They also have channel 107 and 108 for 4k and sometimes even channel 109 if needed for 4k.

I've been able to record two 4k programs before but those were rare instances or a glitch. I think it was when I had a manual 4k recording. It only happened twice and I am unable to record two 4k programs most of the time. I probably will switch to the HS17 sometime this year before the Olympics.

Sugar Bowl will be in native 4k on ESPN according to this press release. It was previously announced that the national championship will be in 4k but it’s not in this press release. It says more info about that game will be announced after the bowl games...

You would think but even when they announced 4k college football games, it was pretty last minute. And several of their 4k college football games were not announced until a few days before.

The other day Fox reported that the Super Bowl will at least be streamed in 4k. Not sure if it’ll be on Directv though. Not sure if the entire college football playoffs will be in 4k, but ESPN will have the national championship game in 4k. Their broadcasts are native 4k and have looked amazing!

What does this have anything to do with Directv?
