My RV Wally receiver has quit. I have it connected to a full size dish, western lnb. I have been testing the signal. My cheap satfinder tells me I should have 13 to 18 volts. This must be from the center pin to the swiveling nut? Mine is 0 volts, at the Wally. Am I testing correctly?

Is it possible to record Netflix or Hulu to my storage device? I would like to save some programs to watch in my RV .

Ok. I thought the programs recorded on the Wally were stored in the external storage device I connected via USB .

Ok thanks. If I load on demand programs with the Wally ,will I be able to watch them later, without the internet?

I have activated my Wally to a DVR. I was hoping to transfer the programs from the hopper to the USB , to view in the RV later, using the Wally . Will this be possible? We are leaving for warmer climates soon, and I'm not sure I can get the programs recorded on the Wally beforehand .

Are you going to be off the power grid? My Wally, tv with a regular dish draws 90 watts. Using a dome would draw more. Another question, if I upgrade my Wally to a DVR , do I need a new remote?

I have had many similar problems with mine. Are you using a tailgator, or a dish on a tripod? I've had better luck with the dish. I have both .

I feel your pain . What you are experiencing is what happens to me. After giving up on the tailgator, I bought a regular dish on a tripod . I then went back to try again with the tailgator. I was finally told by dish outdoors, try a new,25' cable. That has worked so far. It's all voodoo to me.

I'm still working on mine. I have switched from the hybrid lnb to a western . The winegard free satfinder app has the augmented reality. You can see the satellites on your phone .

I just wonder if it's harder to get signal on a hybrid, and the inexpensive meter won't work . I wish my tailgator hadn't died so soon.

Ok, since I'm only in the West, might I be better off just to switch to a western arc lnb?

Ok update. After numerous restarts and check switch, it works. For the future, what satfinder app was it you recommend, and is there an inexpensive meter worth buying?

Hello all, New poster here.I am hoping for help. Here's what I've got . Dish network ,western arc,Wally receiver and king tailgator. The system worked fine at first. It started taking longer to start,and eventually quit altogether. I went through numerous restarts, moves,new cables and such ...
