Anyone in the Crossville Tennesee area?

Hello folks. I am wondering if anyone here is in the Crossville/Cookeville Tennessee area or within say 75 miles? I am looking for some new or used equipment to buy and also see if anyone lives around the area. Thanks all

Shopping for a new receiver. Whats the best?

Hey guys. Well I am out to get a motorized 1 meter or more and I currently have a Geosat pro 3500 hdvr but was curious about what is the best I can get for pulling in the feeds and with a fast acurate blind scan and usb recording option. I see these v8 media for good prices but dont know...

    The good ole analog days

Yes but also if it were that simple to be able to get everything on a small dish everybody could get it then everything would be scrambled! A healthy medium would be to one day be able to get c/ku both perfect quality on say a 1.2 meter dish. I would definetly buy one then and happily pay...

    The good ole analog days

Though I do love the new receivers and technology, there was something about analog and how quickly and easily it was to scan the skies! I never had a c/ku combo, just a C band dish, but now am curious how flooded the ku band analog channels were! There were 32 tps or channels per sat...

Advice to find best ku motorized system

So would you recommend the 1 meter or 1.1 meter with hh motor setup? Are the lnbs good or do you think I could put a geosatpro spl on one of these dishes? Never heard about these setups but that 1 meter or 1.1 depending of cost looks like it would be perfect for me.

Advice to find best ku motorized system

Any of you used multicom? I see they have nice looking dishes but cant tell if you can put a hh on them. I saw raven site. Thing is I am only wanting to use one cable to run and tie into the cable box outside of the home, I cant use an actuator since it would be another set of wires. I...

Advice to find best ku motorized system

Yeah. Thats why a good 1 meter would be awesom to me. Kind of in between. I see the 36 has a 39.6 gain compared to 43 for the 1.2 meter. I really dont know how big a difference is for the 3.4 gain. It sucks because you can get a 5 or 5.5 foot dish for fair cheaper than the 1.2 meter, but I...

Advice to find best ku motorized system

I bought a NPRM since I cant install a pole and looking for the best I can get. I would love the 1.2 meter and motor, but cant get myself to spend the money, I see the Geo 36" but it is really a 34" if you look at specs. I am learning about gain and such and was curious is there a chart or way...

    Best lnb for ku band

Thanks! Yes I would like to see the stuff on 65 west but not if it would get me less feeds than I can pull in with the GSP lnb. Do you know who sells a 1meter dish? All I see is the 39 inch on Ebay from CCTV store.

    Best lnb for ku band

Thanks. Is it universal? I guess I am confused because back in the day I had an Invacom and it said universal but it was for circular and linear. I hear of ku feeds that are on universal lnbs now but are they circular or are there two types of linear universal?

    Best lnb for ku band

In fact what would be your recommended best setup for a ku system for the most possible feeds? I currently have a GeosatPro 3500 hdvr. I bought a NPRM with a 2 3/8 pole. I am trying to buy at least a 36 inch dish, but am looking and not having luck finding a 1 meter anywhere. Last one I...

    Best lnb for ku band

I am getting a motorized setup soon and curious about lnbs. I had a geosat lnb last year that worked great, but curious if I could get more feeds with a universal lnb. If so what would you say is the best universal on the market for pulling in the most feeds? Thanks
