I have the (bottom picture) Dual OTA Adapter from Dish, it is not picking up any channels!! If I disconnect it and just use TV tuner I get over 50 channels! Why will it not get even 1 channel?

Ok this is weird!! I am a full time rv'er. I move a lot. When I get somewhere I go on dish app and update my location and get the local channels. Never had a problem till now. I am in Colorado Springs, updated the locals, app says good to go. None of them work! All other channels work fine...

I keep getting channel signal loss when I change to a different channel. I look at diagnostics and it shows a good signal! Then I do test installation and it does its thing and the channel comes back! I have a king tailgator and wally receiver. I am an rv fulltimer, not in a house. Is something...

After scanning for channels using the ota adapter connected to the rv antenna (yes boost is on) and wally receiver i only get a few channels. If I just scan with the TV it gets a ton of channels! Any ideas how to fix this? Cables are tight.

Ok, I took a look and I was wrong.....the circle in the picture is where the ota antenna comes in, light is booster on! So I can just attach the ota tuner adapter there and then to the wally and I should be good to go, right? :)

Too much ota signal without the booster? Interesting. So is the wally sending power to the antenna through the tuner adapter?

Amplification overdriving the signal? Sorry no idea what that means.

Will the ota tuner (from dish or wherever) work with my RV antenna that works through a booster? TIA

No, I do have a streaming box but that's not the point. The dish commercials make it look like you can watch TV on your phone wherever you are.

I was under the impression with dish anywhere you could watch TV on your device anywhere, as long as you had service (wifi, internet). So I downloaded the app. So far I can't watch anything on my device except for a few channels, that I'm not interested in. I of course can watch on Demand but...

Update: Secured the dish, lots o wind for a few days and no problems! Also the best thing......after the reboot (I think its a wally thing) every night it downloads the guide automatically!! Really happy with this setup. On another note, the new portable dish from king arrives today, will test...

I got it all setup, didn't touch the settings, worked perfectly!! See picture... Much better signal. I'm a happy camper now Oh and King is sending me a new dish too! Thank you everyone for all the help!!

It's where dtv put it, up on the back corner of the house.... I've got this one all together, now to somehow dial it in....

That sounds great except my dtv dish is pretty high up, I don't think I can handle the height. I measured the mast and that was all I could do to get down fast

Ok surprise surprise dtv mast is too big!! So now going to plan B...I'm going to make a stand out of PVC (see picture) we'll see how this goes.....
