Okay, I did run a direct line in once. I don’t believe it’s the correct card it was giving me some sort of error. like a receiver not set up error and wouldn’t let me get to the signal set up area. It’s sounding like I may have a couple hours down time so I’ll go ahead and give it a look...

It was a receiver someone brought up to try. They were able to get the free channels at one point but them soemthing with the card happen apparently from what I’ve been told.

Appreciate the response, which LNB should I go for the. ??? Not a big deal to pick one up. From my understanding it’s basically impossible to hit more than one satellite with these dishes. Every set up I’ve ever seen has only been hitting 119° bird. I appreciate everything guys, I really do!

Are we consensus that this Directv LNB will still work??? I plan on trying to grab a newer LNB anyways but just to get it set up for now. do I need wifi connection in order to set up the switch section ?

Right which was why I went ahead and replaced the end connectors on the single line that was ran from the LNB originally. Does it matter if I hook to one or the other ?

Why is there 2 receiver outputs ? I had it set up from LNB to to 42 switch as shown then out of switch as shown and couldn’t get past the set up point that said “checking switch installation 6 minutes remaining”

This is the old receiver. Which at some point before me was playing free channels through it from the satellite.

Didn’t see any form of DP logo on it. However the old switch that came off of it which was just a 2 satellite input into a single outlet was has a DP logo on it. im assuming I need to find a new LMB! Went to go play around with the sat finder and moved the dish up still couldn’t really lockdown...
