The service tach said it would improve the UI; it didn't. All it has done was screw up DVR use by popping up a couple new unneeded messages and causing a video to stop and require a restart of it.

The receiver was replaced once due to a complete failure probably 6-8 years ago with the same model. BTW, if this would be replaced with one dependent on Google Assistant, I would return it and cancel my non-contract billing.
