There must be a problem with the STB, I don't see how it would hold 4:3 for 30 seconds. Normally with your television settings, you wouldn't even see the 4:3.
With exclusive rights they have the ability to nail people like me who have grown up loving a football team and then moved away from the area. If you're a diehard fan of a team or a big time fantasy football player, where else can you go?

Sorry for another question, but I was just told if that can't get a signal strength of at least 70 or higher, they won't do the install. Am I screwed with my picture if the strength is that low?

I'm sure that would help, but I was hoping to do it as economically as possible. As for the off-air antenna, I'm 60 miles from New York and 60 miles from Hartford, CT so I'm not sure exactly what market that would place me in.
