    2 years away from Directv

    I came back to Directv after 2 years away using OTA. The tech did a great job on the install and the picture is great. A lot of new advances since I was gone. Having fun trying them all out.:D Really glad to be back.

    Searching for blackouted games feature?

    When did the searching for games that were blacked out start? When I was going to watch the Steelers and Eagles on NFL Network it was blacked out and it asked me if I wanted to search and see of it was on another channel.I like the feature just wondering when it started.

    Possible remote booking feature?

    On the D* website on the online tv listings there is a link after you click on a show that says "what's this"' and if you click it and it brings up a remote booking popup decription. Just thought it was interesting.

    New Directv HD on their website

    I just looked at the Directv website before work and there is a new Directv Hd on the left with all the new priframming coming.

    Got new 0x17e software on hr20 700

    I went home for lunch and turned on the HR20 700 and found new software version 0x17e downloaded this morning. Don't know what this fixes or enhances but seems to be working well. Have to play with later.

    MHD Sneak peak this morning

    I found MHD on channel 332 as a sneak peak like NGC. Don't know when it started or if this has been posted before. Just thought i'd let you know.

    I have just finished installing my 5lnb slimline and hr20-700 this week. I peaked the dish and was wondering if the signal strength on the 103 and 99 are normal or should I try to peak it again. 101degree 1-8 97,95,95,58,95,100,95,100 9-16...
