I no longer watch anything "live." I have come to so value the DVR funtionality, that if I want to watch anything "live" at say 9:00 PM I will tune the show in and go out and walk the dogs so as to come back at say 10 minutes after and start viewing the show 10 minutes delayed and catching up...

Do all of the video outputs on the 811 carry the Called ID info? I mention this because on both the 5000 and 508 receivers that I have owned, the Caller ID is not present on the Video 2 output so as to prevent having this info appearing on a video tape recording. Just a thought. Jerry

DarrellP, Actually won't it present both the existing weekly event and also the new event that you are trying to schedule? It asks if you wish to delete or edit the old (or new) event. Can you not edit the original weekly event to reflect one time and thus remove the conflict? Just...
