Go with GloryStar. After all you get several 3ABN channels as well as a number of other Christian channels in English. I have this as an alternative to SA after having it for many years but I could no longer get it since I moved to Mexico. I am very pleased with GloryStar.

GloryStar1 I also have the Mercury II and the firmware version is 4.51. Where can I download the newer firmware and how do I install it? Thanks for the help!

Shane, I have GloryStar and I am in central Mexico. I installed it myself in August following the included instructions. My family loves the programming.

Waiting patiently but with much anticipation. I am ready to add a second receiver. The kids love Smile of a Child so I don't get much chance to watch other programming. Thanks!

Just ordered a Glorystar system after considering it for about two months now. I am looking forward to getting it set up as I have not had much options for Christian programming for the last two years here in Mexico. Will let you know how it goes once we get it installed.

Welcome Glorystar!!! Did I understand correctly, that you have distributors and insallers in Mexico? This is an answer to prayer in seeking Christian programming in central Mexico. I had lifetime subscription to SA when in the USA but have not been able to view Christian TV for two years.

When I was in the USA, I liked to watch Cornerstone and Inspiration. Also, maybe a spanish Christian audio channel would be nice as well.

I am in San Luis Potosi. I have read here somewhere on the forum that you could pick up E* in Mexico but wasn't sure about what size dish I needed. I have a 30" DirecTV dish but have not had any luck finding any signal whatsoever.

Just moved to Mexico recently and am a subscriber to SA. I would like to keep SA if possible. In order to pick up SA signal in central Mexico what size dish and what kind of LNB will I need (Lat. 22.1, Long. 101.0). I have a 508 receiver. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks! :)
