So my parents just got this new kick ass HDTV which now dwarfs what I have, which I used to think was cool. I went over to their house and tried to set up HD over OTA. But, while I was flipping, I noticed some decimal channels and actual HD and DTV feeds coming in. The weird thing about it is...

My question, however, is why that is? Why is it that a good line of sight OTA is much better than satellite or cable? It's just interesting that we've come full circle from going away from bunny ears to now using some kind of antenna all over again.
