I'm located in Tennessee and speaking from my personal experience with my 76cm dish I can say that you may not be able to receive some of the weaker transponders up there, but for 96% of the Ku FTA stuff up there you should be fine.

I'm betting you have a Pansat receiver. My Pansat does that 0-90 quality dance when the quality level is really really really low. What transponder are you looking at on G10R when it does this?

From what you have said it sounds to me like you do indeed have a standard linear LNB. If you tighten the dish mounting bolts too much it can warp the dish, or your dish could have been damaged in shipping (if it was shipped that is). If you take the LNB arm off and lay the dish face down on a...
