I also had two extremely defective 600's and have been nothing but pleased with my 100. The OTA tuner is just fine, but I occasionally get PSIP issues that drop my audio on the Denver NBC affilliate. As far as I know, that's them, not the 100.

Yes, you do need two separate lines running directly from the LNB's to operate both tuners at the same time. Sorry. I tried diplexers and splitters, hoping I was smarter than the instruction manual. I wasn't. :)

I had a different problem with my H20-600 and got a brand new H20-100 (because I specifically asked for one) without a new service contract. I was in the exact same situation as you as far as the owned / leased deal, but I said "yes" to the service plan. Maybe that was the difference.
