$199 to hook up a few wires and run a wizard?!?!? Wow, this is robbery in my opinion. I'll stay with Voom only because I'm invested. Vooms business practices should be reviewed if they want to be profitable.

I dissagree. They advertise "cable favorites" which they fall short of by a few key channels. i can live without most of them but some are important...especially the local cable channels.

My brother in law just bought a new set. He would get Voom if he could get locals. He is in a bad area and doesn't get any OTA channels. Right now he and my sister just love it for DVDs. He's blown away with Voom every time he comes over. Alas, no locals so no Voom for them.
