Maybe a good idea to not move to a west coast server right now. We may wake up one morning and it isn't there. Up in smoke.
I'm really hoping that all of the extra fireman going there from other states and Mexico can help them knock all of those fires down.
I have read in other forums that D* is supposed to come out with a revised UI for their boxes next year, I think February. This may help with making the interface more intuitive, or at least more readable. I guess time will tell. :D

I've been checking channel 578 recently. They're still showing the install video for the AT9. I'm sure they'll have something for the slimline about the time it's released. We'll see. :D
I checked channel 578 yesterday but they're still running the training for the AT9. I was hoping they would show something on the slimline soon. Maybe they're having trouble working out getting good signal strength for all 5 of the LNBs in that one unit. Hopefully soon.
What channel was it where D* used to broadcast the AT-9 installation videos? Maybe they will start showing one for the Slimline dish and we can get an idea when it will be released.

I can answer a few of those questions. MCE detects your receiver as a set-top-box and asks if it is cable or satellite. It then downloads the D* guide. SD only. I have an old Samsung HD receiver plugged into the MCE system, not my H20. I'm using a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 250 MCE for the input...
I'm in Austin, TX (#53) and can get all of the locals OTA and record in HD on my media center PC so I'm only eager for them to convert everybody to MPEG4 and we can finally get more national HD content. The HD package we have now is pretty lame.
