    It does look like you have a legacy quad, and as stated will not work with the 44. You will have to purchase a DP twin or 2 DP duals to get the job done.

    yes, all 811 receivers can do QAM. It is not the default though. It has to be selected to switch to QAM

    FYI, since your complex is run off a QAM system you cant just buy a 211 and hook it up. It would not pick up the QAM signal. Only the 811 and a 351 can do QAM. To use a 211 or a 622 you would need your own dish on your patio.

    Goltv only in spanish?

    Goltv is broadcast in Spanish for the latino packages. But the all english is on ch. 407 on the top 180 i believe. They both have the same feed, just 2 different channels for different language.

    DPP 44 Installation Question

    The 44 switch would not be your second switch, it would be your only switch. With the 44 you could have one line running to each receiver hooked up to a seperator.

    I think you're confused. In any case, if you only have the 622 then your installer can use a dpp twin and a second dish run into the dpp twin and only use one cable.

    Another option would be to use a dp+ twin and with that you can run both your 622 and your 6000 rec's. One line would work for the 622 and one new line run to the new location of the 6000, without the dp adapter. It also has a built in switch which would allow you to have three...

    I believe if you upgrade to the metal packages and the 211 the dish 1000 upgrade is included. Which means an installer would come out and repeak your 148 dish and install your 211.

    Mixing legacy equipment with dishpro plus

    You can use a dish pro plus twin. One line to the 522 and one to the legacy rec.. No dp adapter needed.
