    I removed the center section of foam. Interesting, the KU pickup is right up front and the C-band is further back. Both elements are connected together and turn for polarity.

    Whats the primary difference between a deep dish like this 10 footer and a shallow dish like the one shown? Other than size does one perform better than the other? I understand the focal points will be different between the two.

    I am listening to Chuck Harder now on IA7 11989H/2.821. He is only on audio 2, no video. Happy to have him back. The satellite audio sure beats the shortwave signal he was on in the 90's.

    Long and Lat Confusion + Coolsat setup

    Latitude 41° 50.244'N Longitude 87° 49.284'W is degrees/minutes which is base 60. Location: 41.837367 N, 87.821356 W is in decimal format which is base 10. (50/60) + (0.244/60) = 0.8374 (49/60) + (0.284/60) = 0.8214 If we were talking about time 7:45am (base 60) = 7.75am decimal (base 10)

    I must be close because I do have signal strength of 60 - 70 on all Sat's i try to point to via USALS - but 0% for quality. As Larry1 says, do not look at the 'signal strength' meter. The receiver manufactures should remove that meter because so many people see they have 'strength' and think...
