I am helping my brother set up his dish. He lives in an apartment and is setting the dish up on his deck. How much of an effect will the deck railling have on his signal? We are having a hard time finding a signal & I am wondering if this is due to the metal railing on the deck.

Is there any receiver that you can use loop if out to go too a second reciver and are then able to change channels independelty? Or does the sytem have too have 2 tuners like the pansat 6000hxc , and will the Pansat 6000 HXC do alow this to be done?

Ok, I got a signal now with the rotor HH90 STAB on what seems to be Galaxy 10R. Now do I set the receiver to tell the satellite that this is home base? What I did have as home base is MY LOCATION longatitude and Latitude? But it seems like I should put the Galaxy 10R setting as the home base...

followed your advice and pick up some stations. When I hook my motor back up, I loose my S & Q strength. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Removed the motor, signal is now 76%, quality 20%... on Galaxy 10R 123.0W. This seems to be the strongest signal I can find. LNB Type Universal. If I switch to Standard I get no signal. Any further suggestions. Thanks.

heres what I have I selected Galaxy 10R 123.0W as the my base satallite , I hooked my viewsat extreme 2000 to the stab hh90 rotor which is connected to the "L" outout on the invacom LNB . Inside I have this picture on my setup screen , please let me know if this is correct for setup...
