Great news for all of us D* HD customers in the Chicago area. I received a return e-mail from Comcast Sportsnet Chicago that the HD version of this channel will begin tomorrow September 27!!:D

NFL Network will replay 2 games every week in a shortened format. If those games were broadcast in HD then the replay will be shown on channel 95.

Hey Loudo, I e-mailed Comcast Chicago on the link you gave and they responded by saying that the tentative launch date for Comcast Sportsnet HD in Chicago is the week of September 25.

I have the AT-9 dish and the H20 but neither the Cubs or White Sox have been on channel 96 or 97 in HD yet.

I understand they have the SD version, but they indicated in their July press release that the HD version would be available in August. So far its not there. Why not and when is it coming?

Thanks for the support Rad! It is getting increasingly frustrating for D* to continue to not deliver on dates. I want to watch my local teams in HD and there isn't any clue as to when it will happen. I would like them to deliver what they promise.

D* news release in July stated that Comcast Sports net HD Chicago will be coming online in August. You can go back and read it yourself.

Why the question? How about the fact the it was supposed to be live prior to Sept. 1. My post stated that Comcast is adding Fox Sports Net programming, however, I still don't see the HD version of Comcast sports net on D*.

According to a csr this morning, Comcast Sportsnet Chicago HD can be found on either channels 629, 640, or 656. I am not in front of my tv, can anyone confirm this? He said he found it on his channel listings.

I have had both the 100 and 600. My 100 is smaller than the 600 I had. I also have my 100 hooked up to my Samsung TV via HDMI and have had no issues with the picture. The guide is faster than the 600 and runs much cooler.

Right now Directv shows NFL Network HD on channel 84 on certain nights.

I had the HD package free for 3 months but now I pay $9.99 per month. Am I the only one paying that? :confused: I bought my H20 before the leasing program began.
