Wife's having problems with ROOT NW

Well, Root Sports NW has been full-time for quite some time & that is the channel the OP was asking about.

Wife's having problems with ROOT NW

Since Dish has gone to full-time RSNs I have not had issues with RTNW until last night. I do not record the games unless it's a replay of a particularly good game (& those are very rare with the Mariners!). Last night, in the bottom of the 13th inning, just as it looked like the batter hit into...

    Local Channels optional

I don't know about the Hopper, but I have the Flex Pack without locals on a 722k & I get guide data.

    Dodgers 10 games on KTLA

Yes, once you remove them you cannot get them back. That is why I kept the two I had, one being KTLA, when I went to the Flex Pack. I originally got the superstations when the Dodgers were on KTLA. I may not watch those stations often at all but now I'll be able to watch those 10 Dodger games.

Get out of contract for dropped locals

Solid Signal has the OTA module for less than Dish Depot.

Looking for ways to cut costs

That's what I wanted. I know many insisted the RSNs are included in the Regional Action Pack but all of the Dish reps insisted they aren't. You are the first one who could give first-hand knowledge that it is. By the way, I did finally find a page on Dish's web site that says in-market RSNs are...

Looking for ways to cut costs

I know Nickelodeon isn't included, Nick Jr & Nick Toons are included, though. I said one Nickelodeon channel wasn't included & we could live with that. I'm supposed to get the G4 card for one of the 722k receivers on Wednesday & then will get the programming changed. Then I will be able to find...

Looking for ways to cut costs

In #13 you said to get the 120+ & mentioned the Flex Pack. I'm comparing what I have, Top 250, with a package that has the channels we watch. I have looked at the top 120 or 200 & they don't have many of the channels we do watch that the Flex Pack does. Just because I didn't mention that doesn't...

Looking for ways to cut costs

Where does it say that? Do you have a link? I think your idea is the best & I'm going to give it a try. I'm told that one of our 722k receiver needs an update to the G4 card which is no cost.

Looking for ways to cut costs

I have communicated with several Dish reps on Facebook. It doesn't matter what RSNs are available in other markets in the Flex Pack add-ons, Root Sports NW IS NOT available except in the AT120 or higher. End of story. I don't need locals, I get them OTA. I don't own my 722k receivers. I've...

Looking for ways to cut costs

Dish on Facebook confirms that Root Sports NW is only on AT120+ or above, it is NOT available in any add-on on the Flex Pack. I'm still waiting to find out if we can continue to use our 722K receivers & how much that would cost. It seems that the Dish website won't let me find out about...

Looking for ways to cut costs

Well, I do get Root Sports NW on channel 426 in the 250+ pack. I guess I'll contact DIRT to make sure I get what I need.

Looking for ways to cut costs

The flex pack would be fine but I don't see a regional sports pack, just a regional action pack. I need Root Sports NW & I don't see their logo in the pack. Is that is one of the add-on packs?

    Superstations cropped

It would have been nice to have KTLA in widescreen for Vin Scully's last games.

You can watch or download the last five episodes of CBS series from their website for free. Most are available within an hour of the episode completing here on the west coast. You can then view the episodes with your viewer of choice after downloading. I use iSkysoft iTube Studio to download &...

Mariners Baseball in HD Everywhere But The Pacific Northwest

It's not Dish that prevents you from watching home team games on EI, it's MLB's antiquated blackout rules. Those same rules blackout MLB.tv broadcasts online & on mobile devices.

Mariners Baseball in HD Everywhere But The Pacific Northwest

I got the game in HD here in the Seattle area. There have been a couple of times when the HD broadcasts were JIP (joined in progress) but not as often as in seasons past. Also, I have had the HD feed not start until 5-10 minutes after the hour. Sometimes it has been longer. Looking at the time...

No MLB Extra Innings on Dish...again.

I had it one season but I'm much happier with the MLB.tv premium subscription. It costs less & I can watch whichever game I want, even choosing the home or away feed, on my computer, iPhone, iPad & my TV (via my Roku box) all for the one price.

I need to replace one of my 722k receivers

I don't currently have the protection plan. Is that the same as the replacement plan? And how do I contact a DIRT member. I see that two are currently online but no way to contact them.
