I currently have a TIVO HD. I am moving from Bridgeport to Hamden and I have to switch cable providers. With Cablevision I have a tuning adapter since we have SDV in BPT. Will I need a tuning adapter in Hamden or just the cable cards.

Got my adapter yesterday! Had a few kinks at first but now it is working great. The SDV channels look awesome and the TIVO just follows the same routine as if the box isn't even there!

I hope it is soon and that it works well. TIVO is far more superior than the Cablevision DVR. Maybe since it is taking a while it will work perfectly. One can only hope.

That sucks. Has this been confirmed Remy or is it what others think? Since these channels will be sdv what about the tuning adaptor?

I was just addressing the fact that the channels being lost shound be replaced by the end of the month. Some users believe that we will lose 15 channels for a while. Cablevision is supposed to be replacing them right away so there customers shouldn't feel the loss.

Are any TIVO users getting these channels? I see them saying channel not available. Are they going to be SDV? I am in CT and won't find out till tomorrow.

What area are you in HBK? It is supposed to be added in all Cablevision areas. Nothing yet in SW CT. We did get the tube.

I see that the tube is now on 184 in CT as of this morining. Where are the international channels cableguy79? Are you sure they coming coming to all Cablevision areas today? Nothing as of this morning.

Did you get this from a reliable source. I have heard that the voom hd channels are currently in test. The other ones would be great to of course. Do you recall what sourch you heard this from? We are so behind the othe cable companies.

Is Cablevision going to make this feature available anytime soon? Based on the Optimum Advisor they offer this feature. When I called OV Customer Service, they didn't know what I was talking about. Look at this link...

When I placed my order for OV my appountment was 7 days later. I was with SBC and the next day the order was placed to port my # for the day of my appointment. I guess the wait can be different for everybody. Basically the day you get the service your ported # will work.
