No, have an HD300. Its been rock solid.
Also haven't had any issues since I last posted. Not sure what it was but now I get to figure out the Bears and Cards swapped jersey's before the game? 14-zip Cards? umm what?
Similar to what I was experiencing, expect channing channels, powering down, and disconnecting the sat cable didn't no do anything.
However, since about 5 minutes into the game has only happened 5-6 times.
thanks for the quick reply. Its actually getting better now, only a few breakups every minute (instead of every 5 seconds). I didn't change a thing in my setup.
oh well, if works before kickoff I'll not complain.
Thanks! -S
10/16 MNF - Anyone having problems with ESPNHD?
Currently having sound & video drops and pixalation on ESPNHD. Other channels, EPSNHD2 are fine HBOHD. However UHD is breaking up too

Cool Earl. Thanks for the follow-up post and confirmation. There were reports of BB stores packing up HDDVR's and shipping them back. I also find it odd that instead of the "not currenlty available" that BB usually have on their website, it says "coming soon". That on top of the email set to...
Thanks Robert for the update. Our friends over on DBSTalk have locked the threads discussing this topic and Earl has gone silent. I'm glad you participate in serveral forums.
I hope you get compensated by DirecTV for any loses you incur because of their mandatory recall. (assuming it...
I never pay online nor have automated billing. And I can read quite fine. The issue is that they sent the notice out in June asked customer to confirm their preference online and then provided to promptly ignore those preferences a month later.
There was a note on DirecTV statements 2 months ago (was on mine dated June 29, 2006)
I didn't receive a bill either and there is not a 'statement option box'. However if you select "Discontinue DIRECTV Online Access" a screen comes up which says basically that you need to cancel online bill...

The Terk44 has an amplifier built in so adding another amp and inducing more noise to the line would/should only make things worse.
Unless you have both parts of the Winegard amp hooked near the dish/antenna up BEFORE you diplex the signal back together, you will need to run a separate coax...
Good news! DirecTv is pushing out the new firmware tonight! Check your receiver's update status menu.

I had a similar experience where the install was useless. Needless to say they credited my account $70. I think that the install you get depends on who the company it is outsourced to, its a crap shoot. But I was happy to get the credit for my pain and suffering something I never got when I was...
You do not need to hook your HD300 or any other receiver to a phone for updates (exception being DirecTivo). And infact there is no way to force an update this way, they can only come from the sat signal.
Concerning the firmware update. Another forum user has reported having 1.10 firmware on...
