Would these -1 channels be live for tonight's games? I'm pretty sure at least one or two are being broadcast in HD.

DirecTV channel 95 is NOT Versus-HD.

I don't understand this Comcast-owns-VS-HD-and-won't let-anyone-broadcast-it thing. The original press releases explicitly stated that DirecTV will carry Versus/Golf HD. So, what the eff?

Channel 95 will have the Dallas-Vancouver game at 10 PM.

Every game on Vs. is gonna be in HD I believe. There's no way they'll show them all on 95. And they won't add another 90s channel for hockey. Thankfully NBC-HD has those weekend games.

I guess I fell victim to that one as well, but it never really bothered me. I too understood that it said you can record three programs at once, or record two at once and watch another live. I found out that that's not the case when I was recording "24" and "Heroes" at the same time and wanted...

There were rumors of Canada's NHL Network coming over Stateside. Is that still happening?

The directv.com TV listings show the game in HD on channel 96, so all is well :)

On OLN itself? Because NHL playoffs are coming up, and if I'm correct they'll be on OLN and NBC.

Basically, I see there are lots of HD hockey games being broadcast on regional networks - http://www.hdsportsguide.com/nhl.php - (MSG, FSN, Altitude, NESN, Sun), but I receive none of them, even though I subscribe to the Center Ice package. I don't really understand why.

Hmm that's too bad. But hopefully not never. And what about other regional sports channels in HD, like FSN, Altitude, etc.?
