My apologies...found the HD feed remapped to Ch. 5507.<sigh>

    NFL Net HD in Hawaii?

If I go to Ch. 154 HD, I get the msg. "Signal loss on HD channel, tuning to SD equivalent". Anyone know what's going on? Thanks!

    NFL Network schedule

I'd make a comment about the Movie Ratings, but I'd just sound like a homophobe.

    NFL Network schedule

DirecTV now has the correct info., but Dish is still bad, even after forcing the guide to re-load.

    722 keeps rebooting

Does anyone know if the 722 uses the same chip as the 622, the Broadcom BCM 7038?

    NFL Network schedule

Interesting. Just for grins, I went to Zap to it and entered my Zip 96793 and Dish Network. It can't figure out which locals I'm supposed to get, but shows the game on 154 NFLNET but not on 154 NFLHD, so the Tribune is the culprit. On my Dish receiver 'All Channels' list, I don't even see...

    NFL Network schedule

Much appreciated, Matthew. Like I said, whomever makes up these schedules gave the same bad HD info. to DirecTV.

    NFL Network schedule

The whole day is wrong and at 12:00am Sunday, it goes back to being correct. There is a 'live' preseason game on Saturday (Green Bay Packers at Cleveland Browns) at 7:30 pm ET, but the schedule shows 'NFL Total Access'.

    NFL Network schedule

Schedule appears to be wrong for 8/13. Fwiw, DirecTV has the same problem except that their SD schedule is correct.

    DishNetwork picture quality problem

Any chance the Comcast box will still work so you can compare them?

Missing on my 622 as well, although the 'Instructions' still reference its use.<sigh>

    129 in Hawaii

Any idea of how to handle the PPV channels I can't get? And I'm -really- not looking forward to calling Dish Customer Service in order to get the $5.99 removed for the movie I couldn't receive. I can already hear the "We're sorry, but after the movie is ordered, no refunds can be given".<sigh>

    129 in Hawaii

As you are well aware, the programming on these satellites/xpndrs are dynamic and subject to the whims of Dish Network as to what gets assigned to whatever. For instance, who decided that Hawaii should receive -both- E and W feeds of HBO HD instead of some other HD HBO channel or even another...

Thank you...I completely agree. It's misleading and a big pita.

    129 in Hawaii

Folks in Hawaii nei are used to being treated like the bast#rd step-child by Dish (and DirecTV), but the loss of one of the few HD Movie channels (HDNetMovie) we can get is just plain wrong.

    129 in Hawaii

I received this from Dish: "URGENT ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE READ IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID SERVICE INTERRUPTION OF YOUR HIGH-DEFINITION PROGRAMMING Dear Valued Customer, We would like to notify you of very important information regarding your DISH Network satellite antenna and current HD...

    129 in Hawaii

Added a dish for the 129 slot in order to get more HD programming, which it did. The bad part is that now the guide thinks I can get -all- the programming on 129, whereas I can only get transponders 2, 4, 6, 14, and 16 on spot beam 55. If I happen to select, say, ch 301HD instead of 300HD...

    DTVAHKaKu LNBF

What I have is a DirecTV Alaska Hawaii Ka/Ku Low Noise Amplifier/Blockdownconverter/Feed which was purpose made to work with a 1.2m offset reflector mfgd. by the same Co. I need to modify it to work with a 2.4m offset reflector with a different f/D ratio. I wrote to Eagle/PBI, the mfgrs., but...

    Use of slimline in Hawaii

fudwamper said "My reception is anywhere between 65 to 72." and my guess is that is as good as he can get. Unfortunately, that leaves no margin for rain-fade. There is talk on the AVS Forum (#post14601811 Honolulu, HI - HDTV - Page 152 - AVS Forum) that only one 1.2 is needed now, so that...

Could you post your signal readings from all the satellites? That would be much appreciated. Thanks, --Michael
