Really liking this Flex Pack. Since I travel around so much, I'm rarely at home, so I downgraded from everything to the 120+ pack with HBO. Still had channels I didn't need, but going to Flex which still has the channels I want and just the locals pack, saving $25 a month!

Q2 is actually April - June.

I hit up DIRT to find out what's going on and supposedly 515 is coming by next week and it should be the major release for everyone who didn't get upgraded, like me :( Wish I could get 514 pushed while i'm away!

There is no way to do a manual recording of these without being at the actual unit, correct? Doesn't seem like the Dish Anywhere website or app lets you do it. Going to be on vacation for a bit so it looks like I will only be able to do a week's worth of recording into it, before I am unable to...

I submitted the report to dirt, along with many others, on May 22nd. I messaged asking for an update on June 18th and got this reply: "I do not have any new updates. Our engineers are working on the issue."

Recent software history doesn't really matter, since whenever there is a huge bug, they usually fix it in a few days, like the last OTA bug.

Severely disappointed this has not been fixed, been over an entire month now. I remember when OTA video was stuttering, it was fixed in days. Now just getting recordings working on -02 and greater OTA channels is still not fixed...

Manual OTA recordings work fine, it's general timers by show that don't work.

Unfortunately the major bug with 502 where you can't make new timers for OTA channels (aside from manual) and old timers don't work, is still present in 503. So i would expect another new version pretty soon.

I submitted a report too. Can't record on any OTA channel. They are having a horrible track record with OTA lately; one software makes all the OTA stutter; they send out a fix, next software prevents you from recording OTA...seems like OTA is not a heavy focus in testing...

Just got S502 last night. I have about 12 timers set for new and new/reruns for 28.4 NHK. Every single one of them is now disabled and reporting "No Timers Scheduled" when checking the timer schedule. Full signal, have full guide data. Two manual "once a week" recordings I have on another OTA...

I taped over it. Unfortunately this is in my bedroom, so it's like a bright blue flashlight shining on me at night, haha.

I just upgraded my 622 to the 922, everything is working pretty much perfect, and i'm loving it. The only thing i'm NOT liking is the bright blue TurboHD light on the front of the box. Is there any way to turn off that useless light, other than putting tape over it? It doesn't even dim...

There isn't one, unfortunately. You need to get the 21.0 learning remote to be compatible with the Sony Soundbars. If you call Dish up and explain the situation, they should send you a free one, like they did for me when I got the same unit.

Probably asking the obvious, but since the 922 is considered a replacement reciever, I could take all the shows on my 622, put them on a EHD, then get the 922 up and running and transfer all my shows I have saved onto the 922?

Yeah, it's been having problems since early Sunday AM. I talked to dish and "There are currently no issues with it" of course, but they submitted something to the engineer and had me send a separate email. Currently on tour in the US, so at least every day I can test the waters :) Austin, TX...

Bump, happening again for me. Aqua Teen, Tim & Eric and Robot Chicken all have generic episode info and an old air date, however a New Only timer still records every single episode that airs...anyone else having this problem?

Anyone else having the problem where all Adult Swim shows (Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Look Around You, Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Robot Chicken) all have no guide data? (On top of that, the guide is cutting down on titles, so Tim & Eric Awesome Show is now titled "Eric Awesome Show)...

Yeah, I just noticed it with some Adult Swim shows I taped Sunday night, happened a bit through them. Plus I notice lots of shows don't even have guide info yet on the Cartoon Network, so my "New" timer for some shows are set to record everything.

Last I checked, this is not even the first week of October...unless you are posting from the future in November 2008, then welcome time traveler! :)

Similar issue here with my 622. Yesterday, all my HD channels were all pixelated and stuttering, but my signal levels were all good. Today, same thing. Tried rebooting the whole unit, nothing. Everything still pixelated and stuttering on HD. Tried the unscrew the coax for 10 seconds trick...
