WUSI PBS Olney Il :eek:, I live in Olney, it is a town with a population of 8500 in a pretty remote section of Southeastern Illinois. I am not complaining and I am sure that all 500 or so of us are going to be awful happy :) :confused:

The answer to both your questions is yes, component will give you 1080i and you can get a HDMI to DVI adapter here DVI/HDMI Adapter

Not sure if ths is the problem but on the Onkyo 605 you have to go to the menu, go to hardware and make sure under HDMI the audio is turned off. If it is on there is no audio output.

I have had one since they first came out. For the first month or two no one could use HDMI because of several freeze ups a day requiring a soft reset each time. After a software up date it no longer totally freezes up on HDMI but several times a day it will freeze for about fifteen seconds...
