I spent this weekend replacing all my component cables with HDMI cables. I held off using HDMI because of all the problems I've read about on the 622 that I have. Every thing runs through an AV receiver, tv works fine, DVD works great, 622 worked great for two days. Well at least the component...

I've Had the same thing on my 622, I also noticed that when new shows start recording the timer stays at 01 till the show is fully recorded. Also that when I use cancel to check info it never times out any more. I have to press cancel again to close it.

How long has this lawsuit been on going? I don't care if they don't have all HD programing yet. The fox channels are the only thing keeping me from going HD only and upgrading to a 722.

If Fox News and Fox Business HD doesn't show up by the end of this year I'm gone. I just hope Direct has as good a HD DVR as I have now in my 622. I want to upgrade to 722 putting my 622 in another room so I can go all HD. BUT I need Fox channels first.

I too will go all HD when Fox News is offered. It would be nice to have Fox Business too. I listen to most of the line up on podcast now.

I'll miss Rave but I've seen every thing I liked to watch at least four times. Recorded the my favorites. As long as the HD channels keep coming I can live without ZOOM. My two cents!

upscaling DVDs works great on my 720p 50" plasma. I too can't remember the last time I rented or when to see movie.

I get Fox17 out of Nashville, but haven't really noticed. I find all the locals a hit or miss as far as quality but they have been getting better. What bugs me the most is the unbalanced sound. Local commercials get so load they wakeup my wife. Most of the its not a problem thanks to my DVR...
