Is the game on an alternate channel right now??

I still got the free trial lasst night, but the Bulls game was of course blacked out.

Help?!? This is really pissing me off now, there is a game on tonight again and I won't be able to see it...sucks. Is the League Pass still running a free trial?

Has anyone actually called DISH to find out what they say about this channel? All this speculation is one thing but I would rather just hear it from them.

Nice, now I know that all the games on the Chicago Comcast station at home (41 NBA games Bulls, 81 MLB games Cubs) will be in HD, so I wonder if those 2 HD stations are for that? Since only those games would need to be HD, maybe one event a day that would free them up to be used for other...

My friend has DISH but no HD package. He bought an HDTV this weekend. If I bring my 811 over to his house can we watch HD? It will see my Smart card and use my package settings right?

Agreed, but do it right. I mean eventually it will be HD so figure it out now. It used to be "nothing is in HD!!" we would cry about, now plenty is but you can't get it all.

when they got you by the balls what can you do. The bad part is that ALL the home games on this channel (which is about all of them) will be broadcast in HD for the Cubs, Sox, Bulls, and Hawks. Even if/when DISH does get this channel, they don't have the BW for it to be HD. This is making me...

My TV does not display 720p, only 1080i, so if something is broadcast in 720p like NFL Football on FOX) should I have my 811 set to 1080i or 720p? Which will usually look better? Also, what resolution are Discovery HD, ESPN< HBO, CBS, NBC, ABC, and WGN broadcast in?

Wow this will really suck if DISH doesn't get it. It will show all home games in HD etc as well, however even if DISH does get the channel we would never get them in HD because it would be region specific like a local channel.

Yes the Chicago One, they are going to braodcast all Bulls, Sox and Cubs games from what I can gather. If DISH doesn't cover it then they will lose lots of customers I can tell you that right now.

I tried the new TERK with VHF dipoles, they are HUGE (6') and still don't get it, also the reception/ signal strength on all the UHF channels was worse than my Zenith antenna, so for now I am stuck but I am thinking of getting the NY HD feed.

Basically WBBM sucks for being the VHF band in the first place...if they weren't then I wouldn't even have this problem
