I've seen rg59 work perfectlyl fine with SWM,and seen some fail anywere from a couple of days to months of the initial install.I did notice that it works better with the thicker kind of rg59 than the thinner.

#1 is not true anymore.It might've been a while ago.I did it for a good number of installs and it didn't work. #2 from what i heard the ird pings 10-15 minutes after you do the test.I've been curious myself about this.

Your old FTA dish should work fine with the 6x8 to pick up sat 95.

You might have had a do it by the book tech.The system can be installed,and will work.Even though DTV recommends solid copper.But had it been done by the book,a lot of people wouldn't be able to get satellite services then!!

It could be channels that the consumer demand is so low that it's not worth it for them.

We were told about that over 2 years ago.Then at the end of last year we were told they'll move 'em to the 99 and 103.It would make more sense for the latter ,because some customer can't get LOS at 110 and 119,and you can't just cancel their services for that.

I think you have to be at S.E coast of florida with a really big dish to pick those sats up.

Pole mounts are usually extra ,also have 'em bring you some flat cable if no drilling is allowed.

So do factory reset,then put in the setting up top then blind scan using 5 or 6 step then right?(I think i was using 16 step for blind scan).

I am having a problem with my buddy's vs extreme picking up sat 97.I've noticed it's easier using an ultra whenever i scan that sat.As far as i know the settings should be like this lnb:universal low:9750 high:10600 tp 11752 Now when i select the right settings is it best to blind scan then...

More likely the hsp is gonna pay for it,then in return they'll go back and try to get the techs to pay for the damages.

The tech shouldn't have a problem doing wall mounts,he should have anchors in his van.

yeah that's right,i was looking at sat tracker for nilesat.My elevation was 1.5,which is really low.I was thinking about buying a 4' c band dish from sadoun,with a ku lnb,and trying my luck picking the furthest sat out there!!
