    Hopper 3 EHD Capacity Limit

FYI....Scott G. provided me with an update (thanks, Scott) confirming that the new Hopper 3 indeed still has 2TB EHD limit (some larger drives MAY work, so YMMV) and it is not due to DISH but actually Broadcom chipset and drivers used in Hoppers. Hopefully Broadcom comes with updates which would...

    Hopper 3 EHD Capacity Limit

Sorry if this was already answered somewhere, did quick search of the forum but could not find direct answer. The new Hopper 3 looks really nice but my only concern having currently two Hoppers with almost full DVRs in both, is how the potential move to the single Hopper 3 would work for me. I...

I had option to see my programming online and I saw that $5.99 sports pack mentioned above but I do not know any details about it...it was working until today when I using chat changed and added "penny Cinemax"...and now I am getting the same message/error you guys list here. Maybe if you get...

You CAN change things while on dishHD Absolute

Unfortunately that cannot be changed at least for now...existing subs must wait until February 2009 to be able to switch to TurboHD standalone packages...so you are correct no RSNs for us... At least we are now sure that you still can adjust some things and still keep Absolute as that was...

You CAN change things while on dishHD Absolute

Just FYI...for everyone on dishHD Absoulte package, we all heard that once this package gets removed after 08/01 and we grandfathered to it...we will not be able to change ANYTHING on your account w/o risk of losing it...well I have dishHD Absolute and for last two days I changed a lot of things...

A few questions about the new turbo packages

You can see what each new/renamed combo package gets you here: DISH Network -- Dish HD Check it out and compare. AT250+Gold may give you few more channels as HD Essentials originally had the least amount of HD channels (Essentials>>Ultimate>>Absolute)

A few questions about the new turbo packages

As far as the first option (move to At250+Gold) you can do it easily at any point. As far the standalone TurboHD packages they are only avail. for NEW customers only and as you are existing customer you cannot get any of them...at least not until February 01, 2009...

    Any brave ones?

No as you already have AT package and just moving to next in line...you will be OK. Only us with dishHD Absolute package (HD only channels package for $29.99 E* removed as of yesterday) fear to lose it if we change our programming....you on other hand should be OK.

    Where are E*'s CES Announcements???

I hoped that E* would announce their future programming plans, especially from HD side...telling us what to expect and how they plan to keep to be on the top of HD providers. While I will belive it once I see it, D* announced their addition of 150 national HD channels and 1500 local HD...

    Updated New Pricing Info

The bottom line...still bad news for all of us with current DishHD Platinum package...still $10.00 price increase. The E* really removed any advantage for their "top loading" customers. One thing I do not see anywhere is, if the DVR fee is still waived with AEP?
