Seems to be a drift with my dish. Climbed on the roof and tweaked it a little bit. Will be installing roof mounts in a few weeks when I get some help. When will 118 be on 61.5? I use that over 129 and would be happy to go back to my Dish 500/Dish 300 setup since all that are on 118 are 4 locals...

Anyone in NC having issues with 118/119 not showing up or is it just me LNB that might be screwed up? EDIT: Seems to be the LNB as the switch says there is a connection but no signal. Dish can't get anyone out here until Fri. morning.

Two of mine have rings and two have bars ... all work fine. However, I did get one with a bar that did not work out of the box and had to exchange it for another. Just like with anything else these days, sometimes you get a lemon.

I have 4 diff. WD drives I swap around and have not had any problems with them. Strange.

Now getting tuner loss too. Guess it is time to call and write Dish to complain some more!

Had the update for a few days and then starting two days ago I get random reboots. Dish should def. roll back to 4.48 and fire the testers of this release.

Better price than anything local around here, esp. for the brand/model.

It does not record b/c it is not in the video stream. The Caller ID is part on the onscreen overlay which would not record except to an external recording device like a VCR.

Did it online with a CSR. $.01/year with renew for 1 addl. year. So 2 years of Cinemax for $.02 as long as automatic bill pay and paperless billing are kept. Not a bad deal, though Starz would have been better. ;)

1) It can be done with the new 622 software. 2) Probably not going to happen b/c Dish is tied to the content providers who demand no copying at all. 3) It is correct (actually I heard it was 5 times), but it is something they are going to fix in a future software release.

I would like the ability to watch shows on the external HD from the second TV! It is very annoying to have moved stuff there and then not be able to watch them from the second TV.

Was there a change in the latest firmware that now allows you to record 3 things at once? I am able to record from sat 1, sat 2, and the OTA while watching previously recorded materials on TV1 and TV2. I am pretty sure it was not allowed before and that the 622 was not supposed to be able to do...

Is ther a listing of errors/bugs still in the 622 after the 4.01 update?

All valid except finding to the money to replace a large investment from awhile ago that still works. :)

My 508 would keep the pause symbol on the screen and it did cause burn in over the several years of use. It would have been nice if it disappeared.

Anyone know what was fixed in this release and why this instead of L4.01? I checked my receiver this afternoon and saw it went from L3.65 to L3.66 with nothing from L4.01 included.

I am prob. missing something here, but how can you tell which sat. the channel is coming from?

1000: Larger than 500 and can see 3 Sat. 110, 119, 129 1000+: Same size as 1000, but can see 4 Sat. 110, 118.7, 119, 129 - 118.7 and 119 are in a special LNB assembly 1000.2: Same size as 1000 except the mouthing arm for the LNB's is slightly longer
