A criminal tells me about "FTA"

Regarding T.V broadcasters. Bell Expressvu. Dish Network. Direct TV. etc etc. You pay for their services. They don't come cheap. My full subscription to Bell costs me $125 AND change every month. IF I am paying for T.V for that kind of money WHY am I forced to watch commercials? As...

Contest - Two Free GEOSATpro SL2 Bullet LNBFs - Enter to Win! Ends 2.2.2009

I first learned about FTA through a friend that told me he started using his OLD C-Band dish to get wild feeds, and non-encrypted sports events. Ever since then it has been an interesting hobby to occupy my time when its Cold outside. Being from Northern Sask. we have long cold winters. I...

Enter to win: Sadoun Powertech DG380 HH Motor - End 2/28/09

I can personally reccomend getting and using an DG-380 motor for tracking the ClarkBelt. It is the best motor I have used to date. I have been using one for almost a year now. I am swinging a pretty heavy dish with it and it is fully exposed to wind. No mechanical failures or adjustments...

    Sadoun DG-380 Motor...Thumbs Up!

Installed this morning in place of SG2100. First impression is very good! I have it swinging my 37 lb 1.2 Andrews(ChannelMaster) and it is performing great so far. I even think it is a little quicker than the SG-2100. :up To Sadoun on great product!

    Jaeger SMR-1224 EL Group Buy?

Thank YOU very much for that info... Saved me wasting money on old version. I have emailed a dealer in UK and he confirmed that 1.8 Andrews CM is too much dish for 1224... Cool video....and your right....loud.

    Jaeger SMR-1224 EL Group Buy?

I was surfing through some of their receivers... Seems like Europeans have us North Americans at a disadvantage. They have way better receivers available to them. But some of them are pricey. $599 Euro's for this one but it has DVB-S2. AB IPBox 9000HD Silver - Satshop.TV

    Jaeger SMR-1224 EL Group Buy?

I guess the sat stores in Europe probably deal in larger quantities...therefore they are able to sell at lesser cost. I still may order one of these....but have to sneak it past the little woman. Would cost me $345 shipped from Europe in CAD which is about the same is USD. The shipping is...

    Jaeger SMR-1224 EL Group Buy?

According to the discussion at this forum... The 1224 can be used for dishes up to 50-60 kgs and 2.4 meters. That is 110 -120 lbs. I think it would be perfect for my 1.8 Andrews. My 1.2 weighs 37.5 lbs with everything on it. This is what one user said: hi all i have two of these and am...

    Jaeger SMR-1224 EL Group Buy?

I am pretty sure anyone that can install/mount a satellite dish has enough skills and tools to fabricate a flat mounting bracket or is there something I am missing? The only reason I say this is extra brackets is extra cost and weight. I made bracket for my 1.2 meter CM to mount onto SG2100...

    Jaeger SMR-1224 EL Group Buy?

I too am not sure of weight capacity... Mine is going to be for a 1.8 Meter Andrews Channel master. I am guessing weight of that dish to be around 75 pounds. These prices are from European Suppliers. Cost of standard model is around $180. EL model is $225. It is only $40-50 more than STAB...

Bell Swapping Smartcards - Get ready for the cheap FTA gear!

Sounds logical to me. It is going to take 6-9 months to change out cards....so that leaves hacks a HUGE time frame to work on encryption. This will never end piracy. Pirates will always be around. They will pick provider with the weaker encryption and hack away.
