Well your hd ird is hooked up through some sort of component cable right? So your analog input should still be available on back of your tv. just plug it straight into the back of your tv and turn to channel 3 to watch your old tivo...?

Yes all cust are eligable for an hd ird rebate. You pay $199 and get a $200 mail in rebate.

Upgrade is $99 and they will take all old equiptment and swap it for free.

With poor credit directv will require a 150 up front for standard and 200 up front... deposit. It will be credited back $10 a month for 15 or 20 months. 200 is for hd or a dvr. (advanced products.)

If you look in the dvr manual on the first page with all the button lables, its says for later use or something like that. It was going to be used for advertising windows when you pause your shows. Tivo was told about this several years back but still hasent taken effect.

Seems like most tv providers are following suit with adding MTV networks new logo channel. Working at Directv I take tons of calls from people disconnecting from Dishnetwork and coming to Directv for this channel... Any news on Dishnetwork carrying this channel?

Directv (depending on local stock) usually carries a "Batwing Annt." Depending on your area if it will work good or great. Somewhat paticular in getting a good signal. I would honestly recommend going and buying a TURK or something to that effect. About $70 bucks and you don't get installation...

For the future you may want to call Vonage (if thats your VOIP provider) and get them to send you a filter. That way you can keep it connected. But it will run forever now without a phone line.
