It's still in my guide, EPG still says "MeTV is not available"...maybe has something to do with that our market doesn't have a sat delivered MeTV local affiliate. (ie: if you weren't getting it on 247 while it was active, you still wouldn't see the guide entry now...) The visibility (tiering)...

Bad news for those hoping for MeTV coming back - Merit Street Media's website (Dr Phil's new TV ch) is now showing it coming on 4/2 to ch 247 in HD :eeek

So related to this topic...I'm confused about how the sat signal meters work on a DirecTV receiver. When D11 died, I could obviously see that all the x-ponders on 99cb were 0's...but since D11 also has spot beams, where are those signals shown? Are those then shown on the 99s meter selection...

The problem is, with that long list of local markets that are affected by this spot-beam sat issue, phasing out SD dupes likely still isn't going to help finding enough bandwidth for all those local markets, since the vast majority are already ONLY in HD, AND there is no other "spot beam"...

Except the online notice that's posted doesn't say anything about it changing to HD - unlike the way it said so when Pursuit changed. The bad part either way - like all other streaming-only channels, nothing can be DVR'd. :mad:
