Ok the HD looks good but how many HD channels can I get. I really hope the quality on the SD was better. I'm going to try and return the box but I doubt whether the seller will take it back.

The blind scan did work for me. The only thing is after the scan it goes to the last channel you were watching most likely on a different bird. These guys really shouldn't be advertising their boc as a PVR.

What does the SKEW do? I've been able to determined that my east and west movement of the dish is okay it's just the up/down movement that I need to fix. I'm not sure whether I can use the receiver to correct this because it's off by just a tiny bit.

I'm using a Motor dish with Invacom LNB. Is there any other 10750 sat that I can try? I'm getting Picture on Kuen-tv but the signal is too weak.

Yes I have set it up to be Standard 10750.

I have the right satellite now but the signal stays on 10% and jumps 99% frequently I simply can't get it to stay on 99%. I've done a lot of tweaking to no avail.

Sorry I was actually referring to my quality not the signal as 15-60%. It's quite posible I'm pointing at the wrong satellite then.

Guys I seem to have Locked In on AMC 5 so far my signal rate is 15-59% the highest seem to be on Transpondent 2 11972 H 8.417 yet I get no channels when I do a blind scan however it finds 10 transpondents. What could be the problem?

Thanks for the reply. Iceberg as many channels as posible. I learned I had to point to AMC5 first which is my true south before I can use my motor. I intend to buy the coolsat 8000hd too so some HD channels will help as well. So what are the satellites that I can get with this setup as a bigger...

I'm having difficulty finding my True South satellite AMC5 79W. I'm in toronto and below are my equipments/setup. Digipower Moteck SG-2100 Motor | Pansat 2500 | Eaglestar 18" Dish. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
