Hi...I am about 100 miles north of NYC ( Catskill) and have had no problems.

You wont have a problem in NYC any installer that does dish should install it for you. I have a 9200 and have had no problems. At least I have NFL network and subscribe to Sunday Ticket which Cablevision does not offer.

Good show...can't waint until the DVD set of Season 1 in October...until then re-runs on Fridays.
