I was able to get the Joey's working again by rebooting both the H3 and the Joey's. However, as of this afternoon (Saturday), the Gamefinder/Apps issue has returned just like last weekend. I never did hear back from "Engineering". I'll see if I can get DIRT interested in this.

Well, magically, tonight the apps including Game Finder started working on the Joeys and the Apps key doesn't become disabled any longer. Hope it continues.

Interesting. On my H3, even the Apps icon in the menu doesn't work, although like I mentioned earlier, if I go into Netflix and back out, then the apps button will work again. Will be interested in what kind of response you receive.

Agreed. I should have been more clear that I was used to resetting the Joey with the Power Button hold for 5 seconds and in that case always seemed to come up with the Hopper Info channel. I just assumed that removing power from the Joey and restoring a minute later would do the same thing but...

So far, my rebooting the Joeys by cycling the power with automatic timers early every morning is working. It is interesting that when reset this way it returns to the previous channel it was on instead of the Hopper info channel I always used to get.

Since the software update Friday morning (5/27), Netflix on the Joey's has worked flawlessly for two days without having to reboot. Let's hope this continues.

Just to followup...I've verified that the Netflix freeze is not unique to first use after nightly update like I originally thought. Like everyone else however, once the Joey resets, Netflix seems to run fine. What I don't know for sure is if rebooting the Joey every morning would help.

True. I had them connected thru MoCA only originally but someone in the Dish support forum thread suggested it was a network problem so I disabled bridging on the H3 and used a separate ethernet for each Joey as a fix which didn't work. I've been too lazy to change it back since the Joey freeze...
