    MASN now in HD

This evening's Orioles game is not in hd yet but to my eyes the sd version looks better than usual.

    MASN now in HD

Thank you Dish network. With this addition I now officially have nothing to bitch and complain about. Dish is the perfect provider choice for my home.

    MASN HD-Come on already Dish!

Let's hope both teams continue to play well, maybe that will force the powers that be to get the hd feed up and running.

    MLB network

As a baseball junkie I actually find this network very valuable in the off season as a place to go to get my daily baseball fix on those cold winter days.

    MLB network

Nothing could spoil my good mood this evening. Crystal clear HD, great game being played, Bob Costas. It doesn't get much better. My wife doesn't understand why I'm acting like a twelve year old on Christmas morning.

    MLB network

Thank you Dish Network and MLB. NO provider change for me, I'm now staying right here.

DISH Loses 135,00 Subs in Second Quarter

Hey salt can't tell you how I enjoyed the roll eyes response, that's original. My 8 year old must use that 20 times a day. Anyone have an adult response

DISH Loses 135,00 Subs in Second Quarter

It seems Dish lives for the quarterly statement when they can proudly announce to the world how much money they made, never mind how many channels were dropped or how many lies were told ( rsn hd games). Direct accepts the fact that to keep their customers happy and provide what they promised...

    MASN, RSN question

Thanks for the info Tampa. The thought has crossed my mind that maybe MASN isn't telling me the entire story. We'll hope for best and trust both parties have the viewers best interest in mind.0

    MASN, RSN question

Thanks to Dish for finally addressing the RSN situation. I was hoping that when the changes came we would finally see MASN in HD but it doesn't look like it going to happen. My question for those who know how these things work: The MASN people tell me they've offered the HD feed to Dish and...

    MLB network

You're confusing MLB.tv with the MLB network, two completely different things.

    info on Directv

Iceberg, I think you're spot on with the laid back comment. Much more laid back over here. Tomorrow marks another month of dish commitment I can cross off as I count down the months. ( written as I try again to watch the Orioles in stunning sd)

DISH Secures Long Term Cricket Rights

I have to agree with vdsz, the cricket fans have a choice and they should be happy. If the game is important enough all they have to do is pay the fee. I as a baseball fan do not have that choice. I'd be happy to pay a little extra in the sports package or where ever to get the MLB network...

    Dammit Dish.............

Thanks Iceberg I'd forgotten the Rangers are the one team that seems to play a lot of Sunday night games.

    Dammit Dish.............

A few general rules I've found helpful. Both Dodgerking and Iceberg are correct in everything said. If a game involving your in market team is being broadcast by the team it must be watched on their channel be it rsn or local ota channel if the game is on national tv it will be blacked out in...

    MASN

Thanks to everyone who's weighed in so far. Good point about big Pete, if I have to wait for he and Charlie to come to an agreement it's probably not going to happen as neither of these guys will give an inch. The customers will be cast aside in this giant battle of egos I'm afraid.

    MASN

Let me add that it's fantastic to have two teams on your rsn. There's almost always a game on.
  22. mike11

    MASN

No, both MASN and MASN 2 are sd. They try to divide the Orioles and Nats games so both teams get half on the main channel and and half on 2.
  23. mike11

    MASN

All the discussion of part time rsn hd broadcasts has me wondering, is MASN the only rsn on dish that is still 100 percent sd and if so I wonder why that is? I understand and fully support the people that want all their games in hd, but for the MASN crowd at this point I think we'd be thrilled...

    Full Time RSN

I mentioned to my wife that a switch to direct would probably mean fewer movie channels. To my surprise her response was oh you mean those channels that play the same ten movies for months and months. This from the movie buff in the house.
