MASN, RSN question

Thanks to Dish for finally addressing the RSN situation. I was hoping that when the changes came we would finally see MASN in HD but it doesn't look like it going to happen. My question for those who know how these things work: The MASN people tell me they've offered the HD feed to Dish and it's there for the taking so is it possible the MASN games could be put on one of the new ALT sports channels if there's room even thought a MASN HD channel doesn't exist. Thank you.

I don't pretend to know for sure, but if MASN is telling you the whole story, yes, I would think Dish could now carry it in HD for the games if there is no new contract and fees involved. Another words if sat space was the issue, looks like it may not be now.

Thanks for the info Tampa. The thought has crossed my mind that maybe MASN isn't telling me the entire story. We'll hope for best and trust both parties have the viewers best interest in mind.0
