Installed the BlacX and a Hitachi 500Gb Deskstar last night and set it to copy the internal drive. Might even be done by now!

I was thinking of going with the BlacX hard disk holder and as a start I wanted to just get a drive just big enough to archive the current DVR disk and expand later as needed.

I do have the DHPP so that's good? I'm thinking of getting an external drive, how small of one can I get away with to transfer my full internal DVR drive?

I user Satellite Masters in Richfield and have been very happy with the service.

Does anybody know why they don't output the 1080P at 60fps? Seems to me that a lot more people would be able to view the movie then? All this would become a non issue!

Has anybody gotten an answer from Dish on this? I had to reboot to clear this problem yesterday. I started a recording while this was happening and the playback was jerky but I haven't tried playing it on TV2 yet. Come to think of it I think I trashed the recording so now I will have to wait...
