Well I see alot of satellite dishes on roofs that all I can say. The thing I dont like about satellite is if something goes wrong you can be up a creek for awhile not to mention repair charges. What would really be cool is if they had RFD-TV, heck, Fios dont even have that, RFD is satellite only...

So I can take my SA8300 and get an HD version which will convert the HD channels so I can watch them on my TV. Well that's pretty darn cool! The new VOD's sound good too. Hopefully CV is feeling the heat from Fios and it is forcing them to improve.

And we dont have BBC America. I remember complaining years ago about this, its a joke, every TV provider has BBC America except Cablevision. I have seen BBC America ads posted at the Long island RR stations, pretty funny since no one can watch it. Well actually most ppl here have satellite TV...

I have had service here, things have improved somewhat, I didn't know what they did with the wire outside but the pixelation/net dropouts have been reduced significantly. Still doesn't bring me BBC America, DIY,etc though. But when Fios comes here (whenever that is) I'll prob switch. A big issue...

Get Fios. Fiber-Optics to the home can carry alot more information than some 20 year old coax can. I dont even have an HDTV, just a tube set and I cant stand the iO PQ. Anytime there's fast motion it pixelates. I've seen Fios and the PQ is loads better and there's no pixelation. I will be...

Having problems with all 3 services. Tests I've done online and on my cable box dont show signal level issues, but I am having quite a bit of packet loss. The Optononline is just about useless while trying to upload full resolution photos (1-2MP each). Often gets stuck and hangs, then I have to...

Muzak should just allow FMONE and ENVOE to be available to dish subs. Right now dish subs above a certain package (think it's 200 or higher) get all the muzak channels but FMONE and ENVOE. Why not? Then I'd switch from cable to dish and it'd be problem solved. 2 unique formats found nowhere...

Lets just hope I can recoup my losses on eBay or somewhere. I'll lose $$ if I return it. $85 was alot of $$ for me to begin with.:mad:

Could somebody please just tell me if the muzak still works or not?

Someone told me that muzak has now "locked" several channels on Echostar 119, meaning they are no longer FTA, this includes environmental. Figures, I finally get the reciever and they do this. Good thing I haven't opened the box yet.

I'm going to try Craigslist, freecyle is next to useless, at least here on LI. There are no local radio shows. It's frustrating because if I wanted to buy one it'd cost me almost as much as the reciever, which is arriving this week. I'd like to set this thing up soon!
