I just purchased the HD DVR HR-21 and I am waiting for my 5 LNB slimline dish to arrive, if I were to activate the HR-21 would I be able to operate it off of the 3 LNB dish until I get my 5 LNB dish next week? Also would it be able to pick up any HD channels, I really just want to test it out...

Well I was not realizing that everyone was telling me that the entire mast must be plumb, I feel real dumb. When I do that I have no chance of getting any service because then the chimney blocks all channels. I guess I am going to have to move the dish in front of the chimney.

But yes I am receiving all the regular channels. I get every channel except the locals. All the HBO's the MLB ticket, ESPN, CNN, MTV. All those are working fine, just my locals say searching for signal.

Well I aimed it according to the alignment the receiver told me when to, once it was set to its specifications for my zip code I then just tweeked it some to get the strongest signal. I achieved a signal of 94 but only on 101. It is placed in the middle of my house due to the way it is shaped...

Thanks I'll give it a try again. One more question is that could it be a problem that I changed zip codes from 18201 to 18202? I did change it in the dish, didn't know if that mattered.
