    With all due respect. . . I see this "war" as something good. I hope the "war" keeps HW prices going down. If Sony wants me to go blue, they need to find a way to lower their cost and offer a player in the $200s. There is no pressure on U yet, since the numbers are insignificant at the moment...

    My understanding is that if you have a 1080p TV, the 1080i signal gets up converted to 1080p at the TV set. Take it with a grain of salt, since I'm a newbie at this :D
