Can you get the new HD from DISH?

i have installed countless 1000.4 dishes.. they arent heavy enough to need the struts, and i rarely use them. just my 2 cents.. never had a mast alone fail - EVER.. now the superdish was different.. if you were roof mounting them, struts were required - but still not required on a chimney...

Can you get the new HD from DISH?

i do get the channels.. before dish went mpeg4, HD customers got a dish 500 and a dish 300 pointed at 61.5 if they wanted all the voom offerings.. so indeed, for a time, hd customers were definitely installed with 110/119/61.5.. but on the other hand, it was only offered in this combo for a...

    Davenport Iowa HD locals

you wont ever be elidgible for cr or dsm locals, without 'moving'.. if you have a quality directional antennae pointed at cr with a good amp, u mightbe able to get them, no chance for dsm.. too far. having satellite locals will only allow you to dvr more then one event at a time.. a simple...

yeah, this is suckin.. even though i hoped the locals would happen, this is actually what i expected, delays are nothing new.. on the other hand it has allowed me to sell down stock in mepg2 equipment, because if it is like the quincy market, once hd locals were available, they are required on...

for the davenport area people, i think the best 'move' would have to be to cedar rapids. heck, down here in burlngton, cedar rapids is about the same distance away then davenport... but i have a address i could use in ft worth, so i am not sure which way i would go..

What is a good OTA antenna for 722k ?

for uhf hd channels, the winegard hd8800 works great, and it is fairly reasonable priced.. in my area cbs is on VHF 4, so i had to go with the winegard hd-8200u. it works very well even as far as the 70 miles i am from the transmitter.. i get 80s and 90s.. both of these antennas are great...

    MRV (Multiroom viewing)

definitely possible, but techically you are watching the same tuner and not a different tuner.. so both sets have to watch the same thing - all the time.. works great for a single man, not so hot for a family..

    Davenport Iowa HD Locals?

i have a winegard 8200u vhf/uhf antenna - and i get ch4 at 88%, 80+ miles away here in burlington.. that uhf antenna might get it up there, but that would be luck of the draw. if you installed a vhf/uhf antenna - you would get it everytime..
